400 Passengers Escape Death As Saudi-Bound Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Sokoto


Another plane crash was averted this morning in Sokoko barely 72 hours after an Associated Airline crashed in Lagos. A Saudi bound Kabo Air plane carrying 400 passengers from Kano made an emergency landing at the Sir Abubakar III international Airport when its tyres exploded in the air immediately after take off. The Boeing 747 jumbo jet, left Kano on Friday en route Saudi Arabia but had to divert to Sokoto when the incident happened. 



The passengers aboard the airline had been successfully evacuated from the plane and lodged in a hotel in the state.
