The British Council, in partnership with The Future Awards Africa has announced the finalists for The Young Media Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Both organisations announced the award in June 2013.
"After an intensive three month search, we are very excited to announce the finalists of the new category - which was evolved from our prize in entertainment and media enterprise," said Chude Jideonwo, who is Executive Director of The Future Project. "This collaboration opens up the winner to a vista of opportunities for expansion, spotlight and networking in the United Kingdom, and we are excited to be able to provide that platform, which is our focus. It is not just about winning the awards, its about opening up spaces, and expanding impact."
